CGH food court’s drink stalls now serve brewed beverages with less sugar by default

Date : Saturday, 14 October 2017

Shin Ming Daily featured an article about CGH’s efforts to help people eat and drink healthily within the hospital. Since 2 October, CGH food courts have been serving brewed beverages with less sugar by default with no changes to price. Patrons who request for no sugar or condensed milk would have a further discount of 10cents. Some public members found that the initiative has good intentions but it may come as a surprise for those who are not aware of the change. The article also mentioned that the food courts have placed several posters educating people to eat healthily – to choose wholemeal products, smaller portions, more meals and more fruits. CGH Facebook post to announce this change was translated and mentioned within.
